Digital Products License

1. What this covers

This license is an agreement between you and VibeLock LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("VibeLock", "we", "us"). It covers the Vibe Coding Security Checklist, a PDF that is free (pay what you want, from $0), and the Vibe Coding Security OS, a Notion template sold through Gumroad for $129, together with any updates we provide to them (each a "Product"). By downloading, duplicating or using a Product you accept this license. You must be 18 or over, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to download or buy a Product.

Gumroad sells the Vibe Coding Security OS to you as merchant of record, and your purchase is also governed by Gumroad's terms. This license, between you and VibeLock, governs how you may use the Product. Using Notion to hold your copy is governed by Notion terms. Neither is affiliated with VibeLock.

2. What you may do

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license, which ends only as section 9 sets out, to use each Product for your personal use and for the internal business purposes of one organisation, being you or the company you bought it for. Under this license you may:

• Duplicate the Vibe Coding Security OS into your own Notion workspace, and keep it there.
• Edit, adapt and extend your copy to fit your applications and your team.
• Share your copy with the employees and contractors of your organisation who work on your own applications.
• Download, print and keep the checklist, and share the link to its official download page with anyone.
• Use what you learn from a Product when you advise clients, as long as you do not hand them a copy of the Product or of a substantial part of it.

3. What you may not do

• Sell, resell, rent, sublicense, give away or otherwise distribute a Product, or a substantial part of it, in its original or a modified form.
• Publish a Product, or a duplicate link to it, where people outside your organisation can access it, including on a template marketplace, a public Notion page, a file sharing site or a course.
• Re-host the checklist PDF, or pass it off as your own work.
• Use a Product, in whole or in substantial part, to build a competing product, template or service, or include it in a dataset for training or evaluating AI models.
• Remove or change any copyright, attribution or disclaimer notice in a Product.

4. Ownership

We own the Products and all rights in them, and we license them, we do not sell them. Content you add to your own copy belongs to you. The published standards and laws a Product refers to belong to their own authors.

5. Updates and early access

We may publish updates to the Vibe Coding Security OS from time to time. Updates we choose to publish are included in your purchase while we offer the Product, but we are not obliged to publish any, and we may stop selling or updating a Product. This does not affect any update that the law requires us to provide to a consumer to keep a Product as described. The content of the Vibe Coding Security OS is moving into the VibeLock platform; owners are offered early access to the platform first, on the terms in the Waitlist and Early Access Terms.

6. Refunds

The Vibe Coding Security OS comes with a 30 day guarantee: "If it doesn't make your app measurably more secure within 30 days, email hello@vibelock.ai for a full refund." Our Refund Policy sets out how that works, and any rights the law gives you also apply. If you are refunded, this license ends and you must delete your copies.

7. No warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE PRODUCTS ARE EDUCATIONAL. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USING THEM WILL FIND EVERY WEAKNESS IN YOUR APPLICATION, PREVENT A SECURITY INCIDENT, OR SATISFY ANY LAW, CUSTOMER, AUDITOR OR INVESTOR. THE 30 DAY GUARANTEE IN SECTION 6 IS A PROMISE OF A FULL REFUND, NOT A WARRANTY OF ANY RESULT, AND A REFUND IS YOUR REMEDY UNDER IT. NOTHING IN THIS SECTION AFFECTS RIGHTS A CONSUMER HAS BY LAW THAT A PRODUCT WILL MATCH ITS DESCRIPTION AND BE OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA OR ANY SECURITY INCIDENT, ARISING FROM A PRODUCT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS IF YOU PAID NOTHING. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW, AND THEY DO NOT AFFECT MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS.

9. Ending this license

This license lasts until it ends. It ends automatically if you materially breach it, such as by sharing a Product outside your organisation, and you must then delete your copies. Sections 3, 4, 7, 8 and 10 survive.

10. Law and disputes

This license is governed by the same law, and disputes about it are resolved in the same way, as set out in section 18 of the Terms of Service. Nothing in this license deprives a consumer of mandatory protections where they live.
